Dasha Zhukova, the girlfriend of Russian business tycoon Roman Abramovich, has come under fire for a fashion editorial which was unveiled on Martin Luther King’s Day.
MLK Day is a federal American holiday set aside to celebrate the legend. It was yesterday Monday 20th January 2014.
In the photo for the online magazine – Buro 24/7, Dasha who is also the editor-in-chief of Garage Magazine, is seen sitting on a half unclad black woman.
The image was also posted on Instagram, but later deleted and posted again with the image of the black woman cropped out.
Although a white version of the chair is also available, a lot of people on Twitter erupted with allegations that it was racist act and derogatory that it was posted on Martin Luther King’s Day.
