Activists arrested In Abuja For Leading Protest Over NIS Tragedy

Oh dear!
Public speaker, political blogger and activist Japheth Omojuwa has been arrested.
He was arrested this afternoon in Abuja alongside another activist Uche Briggs for leading a protest for victims of the Nigerian Immigration Service employment test that took place on March 10 - they were protesting against the fact that there has been no justice sought for the lives lost during the National Immigration Service recruitment exercise.
Another activist, known on Twitter as @xeenarh, Azeenah Mohammed was reportedly arrested too after she went to look for Omojuwa.
Xeenarh was very active and vocal during the Occupy Nigeria protests.
This is just too bad....there are reports that they were beaten by NSCDC officers at their headquarters.
