They met for the first time Wednesday April 3rd in the Vatican, talked and exchanged gifts with one another. While the Pope gave the Queen a priceless orb made from lapis lazuli semi-precious stone featuring a silver cross of St Edward the Confessor for Prince George, accompanied by a manuscript dating back to 1679 proclaiming the saint day of Edward the Confessor, with an inscription; "From Pope Francis to Prince George of Cambridge," The queen presented him a Hamper from the Royal Estates (which included honey, aromatherapy soaps, Balmoral whisky and Grandad's chutney).
Prince Philip, however got three gold medals bearing the Pontiff's face, whilst The Queen and Pope signed pictures of themselves in silver frames!
