In the ongoing rigorous search for the school girls abducted by the Boko Haram sect last month, the Nigeria Police on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 announced a cash reward of Fifty Million Naira (N50,000,000.00) to anyone who volunteers credible information that will lead to the location and rescue of the female students abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
300 girls were abducted by the insurgents on April 14, 2014 and over 20 have escaped and returned to their families. The search has intensified for the remaining girls who are allegedly being sold to border towns in Chad and Cameroon.
